On Thursday, July 9th, Redstor welcomed approximately 70 customers and partners to it’s fourth annual golf day at Windlesham Golf Club, Grove End, Bagshot, Surrey.

In attendance were a variety of customers and partners from the public and private sectors who utilise and resell Redstor’s cloud services including online backup, file sync and share, disaster recovery and endpoint management.

The day offered attendees the opportunity to take part in a stableford teams competition or to take advantage of lessons for those wishing to improve their game. A number of excellent prizes were on offer for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams as well as longest drive and closest the pin.

The day begin with a full english breakfast and ended with an excellent three course meal in Windlesham’s Nineteen restaurant. The winning team on the day were Brian Evans, Dave Kerner, Andy Nabbs and Jon Rose.

The weather was ideal on the day with cloudless sunny skies throughout and many a red face by the evening. Following the dinner, a drinks reception was enjoyed on the terrace with stunning views of the course.

Part of the purpose of the day was to raise money for charity with Redstor offering to pay a Pound for every stableford point scored. In addition, golfers were able to pay £10 for a single mulligan during their game.

Over the course of the day, £1,889 was raised with those in attendance being asked for their preferred choice of charity. Macmillan Cancer Support was the popular choice and therefore redstor will be donating the money raised to Macmillan who provide practical, medical and financial care for those diagnosed with cancer. They also campaign for better cancer care.
