After an incredible 20 years at Redstor, Brian Evans is moving on to aid and arm BackupVault one of Redstor’s long time valued partners as Sales Manager.
Brian has been a Redstor ‘Legend’ and played a massive part in the company’s transformation over the years. Brian summarised his journey, “I have seen first-hand the transformation of Redstor from vendor-independent storage VAR to a Managed Service Provider (MSP), to the first-class backup and recovery vendor they are today”.
We asked Brian, “what have been some of the most rewarding experiences of your time at Redstor?”
“The most rewarding experiences have been centred around end user and partner relationships, I have enjoyed building trust and working with some very valuable people over the years and forging relationships. My customers are my friends, I have even been to some of their weddings”.
Brian has worked with hundreds of end users and partners over the years, forming relationships with many of them. He has been a pillar of support to Redstor and has been invaluable in building out the company’s network of trusted partners. He has also been highly customer service-focused, in the early days, driving backup disks to schools hit by ransomware attacks, and providing customers with a concierge service.

What lessons have you learned that you can take with you to your new opportunity?
“I have accrued a wealth of experience at Redstor, from knowing the product inside out, listening to Customers and understanding their pain points, business challenges and understanding why they are looking to make the move. I believe I will be able to bring BackupVaults customers value not only with the Redstor solution but the wealth of SaaS applications BackupVault and their sister company BackupLABS can offer”
