Yesterday Redstor welcomed attendees from amongst it's 85+ strong education partner network to an education focused partner event held at SNO!zone, XScape in Milton Keynes.Over the course of the day, Redstor and several of it's key technology partners provided a range of training and presentations around transforming their service delivery models and generating new income streams.Paul Evans, MD of Redstor gave an opening presentation outlining some of Redstor's successes such as the continued growth (over 40% annually) of it's Cloud business as well as industry trends in the wider context of the UK economy and indeed globally. Following this and leading up to lunch, further presentations covered Redstor's Backup Service for Schools
and Store and Share.Following lunch, technical breakout sessions enabled attendees to ask questions of directly of Redstor and technology partners in relation to each of Redstor's services. The day represented a great opportunity for partners to network, discuss trends, share ideas and collectively brainstorm solutions to industry challenges.Attendees were also able to offer feedback directly to Redstor with the aim of helping Redstor improve the services it provides. The biggest themes of the day were:
- the expectation of schools that support providers must do more with less
- the importance of E-Safety within schools
- the proliferation of mobile devices and the impact of them on support teams
- the fact that service providers are continually having to adapt to change
Redstor will be holding a further education forum for our education partner network in Manchester on October 11th.
