Redstor will join UK public sector channel partner, Interm IT, on the 20th October for a one-day seminar with attendees from end-user schools and customers. The seminar will bring together selected vendors and Suppliers, IT staff, Network and IT Managers to join the debate on topics that are affecting the IT market in the public sector. Discussions and talks will be held throughout the day and will feature topics such as GDPR and how cloud and remote software solutions can change the way students learn in the classroom.

Hosted at De Vere Theobalds Estate in Cheshunt, the free seminar is set to be a great day of learning and sharing for all those involved. Redstor alongside technology partner GDPR365, will be hosting a session around how the General Data Protection Regulation will affect schools come next May. This will focus on the complications of data subject rights and how this will affect the day to day running of schools, as well as the right to be forgotten and how technology can be employed within schools to help alignment with legislation.

Redstor have worked with partners to provide services to the public sector and education space since 2005, and have successfully provided solutions to over 12,000 schools to help them protect, backup and restore data.
