posted in Redstor ● 3 Jun 2018

On the 20th and 21st of September 2017, Redstor will be attending the industry recognised AIT conference. The AIT (Accountancy and IT Services Ltd) is an organisation made up of more than 35 of the top 60 accountancy firms in the UK. The AIT conference aims to give IT teams from the top accountancy firms an opportunity to learn and share knowledge on what they are seeing in the industry and how technology is being used to combat or advance areas.

Redstor are an official sponsor for the event and will have an opportunity to fulfil a speaking slot on day 2 of the event. With the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), only a matter of months away, there will be a focus on how vendors are helping accountancy firms become compliant with the regulation in advance of it coming into force. Redstor will focus on the challenges and requirements for data retention and how the GDPR effects this. Key points will include:

  • Data subject rights
  • The Right to erasure
  • Encryption’s place within GDPR
