Reading schools to receive over

Reading schools to receive over

posted in New Technology ● 26 Feb 2016

Recent estimates by Reading Council officers estimate that 2600 new primary school spaces will need to be created over a 7 year period beginning in 2014 in order to cater for population growth. The project to create these additional spaces could see up to 4 new academies built over and above expansions to existing schools including Battle Primary and Alfred Sutton. The majority of the new spaces are needed in Central and Western Reading with over 1,400 estimated to be needed in these areas. Schools across the country including those in Reading can improve efficiency and reduce costs using Redstor’s range of cloud services for education including backup for schools, e-safeguarding, cloud-based collaboration and storage and IT asset and device management.
