Redstor to showcase game-changing pricing model for O365 protection as part of pioneering data management platform

Johannesburg, 24 October 2019 – Redstor, the company disrupting the world of data management, will demonstrate at the Gartner IT Symposium/Xpo™ in Barcelona how a pioneering technology developed in South Africa slashes the cost of Office 365 protection.

With transparent pricing – based on GBs of data protected rather than number of users – large organisations are finding that protecting O365 with Redstor can work out as much as 10 times cheaper than other solutions.

James Griffin, Redstor’s Chief Product Officer, will outline in a presentation on November 4 why the traditional approach of differentiating between on-prem and cloud data and deploying separate solutions for backup, archiving and DR is no longer fit for purpose.

This is because today’s market requires an all-in-one solution that offers total visibility and delivers instant access to all data on demand, wherever it is stored.

Whether data is onsite, in the cloud or in a hybrid environment, everyone’s priority is to access what they need, when they need it, from backups or archives.

Griffin will explain that, in the event of an issue, Redstor will live stream data and get organisations up and running at the click of a button, within seconds, not days.

The UK-headquartered company, who will be exhibiting until November 7, will address many of the burning questions troubling boardrooms all around the world – how best to cope with data sprawl, malware, stale data, regulation and compliance, moving to the cloud and managing risk through effective protection.

Griffin said: “The answers lie in your data, but do you know where to look? Practical steps can be followed to help understand the scale of the data management challenge, provide oversight and create policies to manage data intelligently.

“The technology exists to make these challenges smaller and help customers take back control, save money and reduce risk.”
