Redstor set to put backups in orbit at the Edugeek edit Conference 2017!

This year’s Edugeek Conference, edit 2017 will be held on June 1st at the National Space Centre in Leicester. Redstor will join technology pioneers such as Google and Microsoft at the one-day event primarily attended by Network and IT Managers within schools, colleges and academies across the UK.

The conference is set to begin at 9:00 am and will feature a host of feature talks and sessions dedicated to understanding and improving on knowledge in the modern IT environment. Topics such as cloud services, MIS systems, data protection and Ransomware are sure to be the talk of the town given their prominence in the education IT space over the last 12 months.

Redstor will be delivering an educational session around backup, both online and offline, disaster recovery, ransomware and the challenges of restoring data. We will also have a short question and answer session and further resource will be available on our exhibition stand throughout the course of the event.

Daniel Sapseid from the Academy Selsey (a TKAT school) will also join Redstor to talk through what happened when his school was struck by a disastrous fire, and how he was able to successfully recover and avoid astronomical data loss.
