Redstor Golf Day July 2nd, 2013

Redstor Golf Day July 2nd, 2013

posted in Redstor ● 4 Jul 2013

On Tuesday, July 2nd, Redstor welcomed approximately 60 customers and partners to it’s second annual golf day at Windlesham Golf Club, Grove End, Bagshot, Surrey, GU19 5HY. Attending were a range of users and resellers of Redstor’s range of cloud services including  Online BackupE-SafetyCentralised Device Management and Remote Backup for Schools. The day provided attendees with the chance to enjoy golf, with a friendly atmosphere, amongst peers, whilst competing for prizes, on a course which is fast becoming known as one of the finest in Surrey. The day began with an enjoyable buffet breakfast. This was followed by a presentation given by the course’s head professional  Lee Mucklow in which he outlined how to prepare mentally for golf and sport in general and how to succeed under pressure. For the few non-golfers in attendance, lessons were on offer and these were taken up Redstor, customers and partners. Following the golf, attendees enjoyed a fantastic 3-course meal served from the very impressive Nineteen Restaurant. The day concluded with a charity auction which was held to raise money for two separate charities Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice and South Bucks Hospice – both of which provide an extremely valuable and important service to the terminally ill and their families. £2,500 was raised through the auction of various items donated by Redstor’s partners including Arrow ECS, Attix5, CentraStage, Securus and Windlesham Golf Course. Initial feedback suggests the day was enjoyed by all and in all likelihood Redstor will be repeating the event again next year.
