Paul Evans is the CEO and co-founder of Redstor. Following a brief spell as a lawyer, he has been working in the business of data management since 1994. After starting out with Memory and Shuttle Technology, he set up Redstor with fellow co-founder and lifelong friend Tony Ruane in 1998. Paul was also a co-founder of SaaS company Centrastage, which exited to Vista/Autotask in 2014. At Redstor he is focused on delivering the 'Future of Data Management. Now'.
Mark Howling, our Chairman, has worked in the software, IT and telecoms industries for more than 30 years. He started his career working in large, multi-national corporations and has spent the last 20 years working in Private Equity-backed businesses. He has significant experience in developing and growing businesses organically and through mergers and acquisitions. In addition to being Chairman at Redstor, Mark is Chairman of Gradwell Communications and TIG, and founder and a non-executive director of Pulsant, a cloud hosting company. Mark graduated from Nottingham University with a degree in Civil Engineering.
Gareth Case joined Redstor in August 2018 as Chief Marketing Officer, following a 20-year career leading award-winning marketing teams for some of the world’s most respected technology brands, including DXC, CSC and NIIT Technology. Gareth is a recognised thought leader in B2B marketing and regularly speaks at industry events and conferences. He joins Redstor’s Operational Board and is responsible for developing and executing the company’s marketing strategy.
Gareth Dyson joined Redstor in 2012, and as Finance Director has responsibility for managing information, risk and controls. He is a qualified accountant with more than 10 years' experience in commercial finance roles in a number of multi-national companies. Gareth is experienced in mergers and acquisitions and was a key part of the team that completed the Attix5 purchase.
Heidi Coerlin joined the Redstor team as General Manager for Sales in South Africa. Heidi has experience at every level of operation and uses this knowledge to manage and drive sales strategies in SA and the rest of Africa to develop strong partner relationships. During the last seven years Heidi has specialised in solving customer challenges related to data backup, disaster recovery and business continuity and more recently shifted her focus to build Redstor's International Alliance Partnerships.
Thomas Campbell, our Technical Services Director, has amassed a wealth of experience since joining the UK-based team in 2005 as a Bachelor of Computer Science from University of Kent. He has held a number of roles at Redstor including Senior Consultant, Product Manager and Head of Pre-sales. Thomas now sits on Redstor’s Operating Board and holds responsibility for the technical delivery of Redstor’s services, infrastructure and support.
Rob Buckton joined Redstor in May 2019 as UK Sales Director and is responsible for the UK sales strategy and customer engagement. He brings 20 years of experience in the IT, networking and telecoms sectors, leading high performing sales teams in companies such as Rackspace, Interroute/Easynet, TalkTalk Business and MTI. Throughout his career, Rob has worked in organisations providing managed services to both end customers and partners across all sectors.
James Griffin joined Redstor as Chief Product Officer in 2019 and leads product design and engineering. Over the last 20 years, he has held leadership roles at leading SaaS, cloud and hosting service providers across UK and international markets. In his previous role as chief cloud evangelist at Vodafone, he worked with CIOs of leading global companies, helping them build and execute transformational cloud strategies. With a wealth of experience in creating and delivering key operational programmes, James combines the ability to match customer needs with realistic, robust technology choices.
