Redstor Cloud Drive for PCs and Servers enables you to provision and access Redstor Cloud Storage from a standard Windows PC or File Server in exactly the same way you would a normal hard drive. Downloadable software gives access to a virtually limitless supply of storage with all the benefits of Redstor Cloud Silo.
Over time file servers will grow old and run out of disk space and customers need to be prepared to replace it every 2-3 years. The Redstor Cloud Drive, mounted on a File Server will grow as large as you need, does not need replacing every 2-3 years and can simply be mounted on a new server as and when required. If anything goes wrong with the file server or in a disaster situation, the Redstor Cloud Drive becomes your disaster recovery solution as the data is stored offsite and is remotely accessible.
The PC software, installed on a PC allows users to store files on the Redstor Cloud Storage Platform, accessible anytime and from anywhere. Cloud Drive for PC's can be used for collaboration by creating a shared virtual drive for multiple users. Using the Redstor Cloud Drive PC software, you can map a shared account onto everyone's desktop and users can share documents from wherever there is an Internet connection.
Redstor Cloud Drive encrypts files, both in transit to and from the Redstor Cloud Storage platform and while stored. This guarantees end-to-end data protection. The data is never visible to anyone at Redstor or any third party.
